We first checked the packing list of the elevator manufacturer

elevator ceilings

Under the elevator ceilings of elevator braking deceleration, car weight, and lifting height, the elevator balance factor will affect the two emergency braking conditions of no-load upward and full-load downward conditions of. The balance coefficient of the elevator is lower than 0.4 specified by the national standard, which will be unfavorable to the traction conditions of the elevator car when it is at the lowest landing.

When moving up with no load or full load, the load of the traction motor will increase, which is likely to cause the motor to heat up; when moving down with full load, uneven layer is likely to occur, the wire rope slips on the traction sheave, or the car 'rolling' phenomenon after the elevator brake is opened. .

In order to find out the reason, we first checked the packing list of the elevator manufacturer. The elevator counterweight in the packing list was 43 pieces, each weighing 30KG, and then checked the actual counterweight installed in the elevator counterweight. The actual number of counterweights installed was 43, so we preliminarily concluded that the installer had installed fewer counterweights during installation.

However, the installer reported that after the elevator installation was completed, the manufacturer’s elevator commissioning personnel carried the weights in the elevator car during the express commissioning of the elevator, and carried out the measurement of the balance coefficient. The measured balance coefficient was 0.45.
